Seattle Children’s Theatre
LPD Engineering is providing comprehensive civil engineering services for the expansion and modernization of Seattle Children’s Theatre at Seattle Center, encompassing both a new education wing addition and enhanced public spaces. Working alongside ORA Architects, LPD’s scope includes site development and infrastructure integration for multiple project components, including a new accessible entry, expanded lobby and gallery spaces, and potential roof terraces. The project presents unique challenges in coordinating with existing Seattle Center utilities while implementing new accessible routes that seamlessly connect with the campus-wide pedestrian network.
In collaboration with Seattle Children’s Theatre and Seattle Center, LPD Engineering’s expertise is essential in developing infrastructure solutions that support the theatre’s transformation.
