Newport High School Modernization – Bellevue School District
LPD Engineering is providing comprehensive civil engineering services for a $97.91 million campus renovation and expansion project at Newport High School in Bellevue, Washington. The project scope includes 145,000 square feet of new construction, 40,000 square feet of modernization, and 65,000 square feet of demolition, encompassing new athletic facilities, commons, food service areas, and career and technical education spaces. Despite the extensive scope, the school is remaining operational during construction, with anticipated completion in February 2026, necessitating a carefully phased approach to minimize disruptions. LPD’s services include site planning, grading and drainage design, utility coordination and connections, as well as extensive site improvements including new parking facilities, athletic fields, and plaza areas, all while ensuring compliance with City of Bellevue codes, frontage requirements, and stormwater management regulations.
Working closely with NAC Architecture, LPD’s civil engineering and educational project expertise is instrumental in facilitating this ambitious project.
