Laurie founded LPD Engineering to provide excellent customer service through immersion in all project aspects to ensure the civil design considers all variables. She challenges herself and staff not to be limited by the perceptions of others and create solutions to suit the individual needs of each project. With over 35 years of civil engineering experience, Laurie’s customer service and holistic design approach has garnered the respect from her clients, whether they are owners, architects, contractors, jurisdictions or staff.

With over 30 years of civil site design experience, Marc leads the design and execution of LPD’s most complex public infrastructure projects. His expertise in public utility infrastructure, site development, and facility upgrades has made him a key technical resource for municipal, transit, and public works projects across the Seattle region.

Spanning from Port of Seattle (POS), Seattle Public Utilities (SPU), Seattle City Light (SCL), and the Seattle Department of Finance and Administrative Services (FAS), Marc excels at identifying critical steps in construction phasing to maintain operations and minimize disruptions in service. His expertise includes stormwater management, erosion control, site grading, ADA-compliant accessibility, and complex utility coordination. He has extensive experience in electrification projects, including civil site design for charging stations and electrical infrastructure, as well as pavement restoration, utility relocations, pedestrian circulation, and street improvements.
