CAD Manager
(10+ years experience)
Location: Seattle, WA
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update company-wide CAD standards and best practices
- Implement new CAD technologies and manage software licenses
- Lead, train and develop the CAD team
- Review CAD drawings for compliance with standards and requirements
- Collaborate with engineers to develop efficient CAD workflows
- Manage project deadlines and CAD resource allocation
- Identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in drafting/design with AutoCAD
- Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and 3D modeling
- Experience creating and managing CAD standards
- Knowledge of surfaces, roadway profiles, and utility networks
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and attention to detail
- Involvement in industry forums to stay current with technologies
- Understanding of civil engineering plan construction and presentation
