Seattle Fire Station 31 Renovation and Addition — Seattle, WA

Seattle Finance and Administrative Services

The renovation and addition to one of Seattle’s busiest neighborhood fire stations required various site improvements, including modifications to the storm drainage and sanitary sewer systems, pavement and soil removal/replacement associated with removal and decommissioning of underground fuel storage tanks and pavement repairs.

A wash water separation system was designed to route stormwater flows to the storm drain system and truck wash runoff to the sanitary sewer system. The separation system contains an outlet regulated to discharge to either the storm drain or sanitary sewer system.
